Personality|
<sub>Meir is far from what one would call kind and sweet. He is rather calculative and can be a manipulative bastard when he has sights on something "beautiful" or "interesting". Despite his always smiling expression, it's hard to tell what he is actually thinking and whether he was joking or being serious. He is very sarcastic and likes to grit people's nerves for his personal enjoyment. He is rather carefree and barely cares for rules, however combined with his curiosity it usually results in injuries and other troubles. Meir is also a bit of a narcissist, often referring to himself as "beautiful" and can be seen admiring his own reflections. He has a rather harsh tongue and could mindlessly sprout insults with a smiling face. He does not go out of his way to help others unless it can satisfy his endless curiosity.

Despite his negative qualities, he is very observant of people and is a quick learner with a keen eye for details. He does show "care" for people but that is usually camouflaged by his overwhelming pride that he doesn't let down. Meir is rarely upset and can be easily amused. He comes off as a cheerful person due to his always present smile and it doesn't fade even in anger because he deems an expression such as anger to be "not beautiful". He is rather patient and dislikes ruthless behavior displayed by others but have no problem diving into danger at the first sign of "discovering new things".

In his sea form, he takes the appearance of a female and more elegant. Her personality doesn't change much from when she was a human male,however the softer and gentle side of her is more visible and her words are less harsh but the narcissistic behavior is still present. She is also more cautious of her surroundings but more open with people and rather stay in groups than being alone. She can also be quite mischievous.</sub>

<sub>Meir was born in the kingdom of Tajar, his father was a Trader at the markets in Tajar and had quite a good business. Meir was the first child of the first wife, however at that time his father's business wasn't going so well and she left him without another word. Meir wasn't particularly bothered by her leaving and instead indulged himself in learning new things that could benefit him in the future, after all the future was all that he had his sights on despite being only at a young age of 7. Meir would try to help out with his father's business by carrying around small baskets and helping promote the things he was trading and selling. One day his father brought back a lady who was injured, saying that he found her outside and couldn't leave her alone thus decided to treat her back to health. Eventually, the two got married and the lady called "Aishah" gave birth to two boys who were Meir's younger brothers "Amir" and "Gamil".

Meir did not give much attention to his two younger siblings at first, but eventually he warmed up to them. He let's them in on his "secret researches", which were just Meir trying to learn about his heritage. He later realizes about the parrotfish's sequential hermaphrodite later from his father. Being able to change to a female in his other form, as Meir grew up more and more he started to adapt into a person who did not care about his gender and his younger siblings would start calling him "sister" when he is acting seemly feminine. He later finds out that he was a bit different and his initial phase was reversed instead of being a female able to turn to male he was reversed.

Although Meir did not interact with many people he had a friend whom he met since very little, Taj Jauhaar. When they were both 10, out of curiosity and a thrill for adventure the two went into a nearby noblemen's mansion to see if they can steal anything, that is where they met their other friend Jalila, the daughter of the nobleman. When she caught them, she did not turn them in and instead wanted them to guide her around the outside world. Meir's sarcastic and seemly jerk like personality began around this time when he found it amusing to pick on Jalila and Taj. He was the only one out of the three friends who was not of noble status.

Not long after the incident at the mansion, he was walking around the streets of Tajar with his family. However Meir was distracted by the gleam of a few things traveling merchants were selling and got separated from his family. A warning of on coming sandstorms came and the people of the streets quickly dispersed and took shelter. While Meir's family were frantic and wondering where he was they had no choice but to retreat, simply praying that Meir took shelter somewhere. The merchant whose items caught Meir's eye decided to let him take shelter together with him. The Merchant's name was "Jinn" and in Meir's eyes was a person with a lot of charisma. During the cover from the storm, Meir had Jinn tell him about his travels and various things he had discovered. Jinn's stories sparked an uncontrollable desire within Meir to travel and set his curiosity on a whole new level.

When the storm was over, Jinn brought Meir back to his family.Instead of just going back to his family, Meir asked if he could go and travel with Jinn instead.His family was surprised and his step-mother was against it because it would be too dangerous. However his father just smiled and said that if that's what he truly wishes then he may on the condition that he comes back to visit sometimes. Jinn was given no choice but to take the kid with him in the end. He was a rather air headed and laid back guy, traveling at his own pace and teaching Meir many things to be a skilled merchant. There were often times that he had to bail Meir out of trouble because out of Meir's extreme curiosity led him into situations where it could be dangerous.

Due to Meir's desire for discovery and amusement, he was injured a lot and gave Jinn quite a headache. However Jinn still took care of him like a loving elder brother figure. Meir eventually found himself in trouble when he ran into a band of bandits. Meir was a problem child and tends to fight back, which resulted in him getting heavily injured with a slash to the chest. However Jinn found him in time and managed to take him to a doctor where his life was regained. Jinn scolded Meir for being so reckless but was glad that he was okay.

Taking that scar as a sign that he was still too weak, Meir usually hid it by wrapping bandages around his chest. He continued to travel with Jinn till he was around 19 and then he parted ways with Jinn to begin a travel of his own. Jinn told him to not be reckless before they parted and Meir's reply was " I'll continue to chase after this dangerous love, Jinn. I'll come back to you one day!" and ran off leaving Jinn to shake his head and hope the problem child doesn't hurt himself in the future. Meir's injury in his right eye came from an accident when he was traveling alone and as usual rushed into danger at the first thought of fulfilling his curious desire. He did not lose full sight in that eye from the blow he had taken from slipping and falling down this cave area however sight in that eye is still barely visible so he covers it with an eye patch.Meir occasionally travels with his merchant friend Taj, for more thrilling adventures and to poke fun at him when Meir becomes bored.</sub>

-His smoke pipe was a gift given by Jinn and was one that Jinn had acquired on his travels

-He carries around thin needle like objects because "striking like a peck of a bird is very beautiful"
-He thinks cutting his hair is too much pain so he wraps it around his neck like a scarf and dislikes it when people touches his "beautiful" hair
